It is available in form of a PC module (electronic offline index), primarily for the use as a quick-reference tool for bank clearing (BC) numbers via search functions such as the search criteria BC number, name of financial institution, localities, etc. In addition to the BC number, it lists the financial institute's main branch and other branches, labeled accordingly. Only valid participants can be queried with the BC Index, which is available in three languages. Concatenations, indirect participants and technical BC numbers are not shown.

The electronic BC Index is primarily intended for installation by customers and banks with no direct Internet access at their workplace and who are unable to make use of our online "Inquiry BC number" service.
