Swiss Interbank Clearing Ltd is a joint venture of the Swiss financial center. It operates the online payment systems SIC for Swiss francs and euroSIC for euro payments in Switzerland and across its borders. It thus makes optimized cash management possible, as well as rapid and secure handling of payment traffic and connection to European payment systems. In addition, Swiss Interbank Clearing operates the Swiss banks' direct debit procedures and supports them with their marketing activities.
Swiss Interbank Clearing contributes significantly to the attractiveness of the Swiss financial center, due in no small part to its low-cost payment traffic services which meet the most stringent of quality requirements in reliability, efficiency, and security.
