Suva is the first insurance company participating in the Swiss interbank payment system SIC. The biggest non-profit Swiss Accident Insurance Fund will be thus enabled to process its Swiss franc repo business directly through the Swiss Value Chain from the beginning of June. This is due to the decision of the Swiss National Bank to expand access to the Swiss financial market infrastructure for participants without a banking or securities brokering license.

The changes were mainly due to the National Bank's decision to expand access for participation in the repo system by January 1, 2010 to include specific marketplace participants without a banking or securities brokering license.
