Telekurs Multipay and xsmart cooperate in mobile marketing and mobile payment    07.12.2007
Zurich, December 7, 2007 – Telekurs Multipay Ltd, the Swiss market leader in cashless electronic payment transactions, and the software company, xsmart AG, signed a cooperation agreement today that focuses upon joint solutions for the sales and marketing of services over mobile telephones.
Telekurs Multipay AG joins PCI Security Standards Council as newest Participating Organization   28.11.2007
Zürich, 28. November 2007 Telekurs Multipay AG, announced today that it has joined the PCI Security Standards Council as a new participating organization. As a Participating Organization, Telekurs Multipay will work with the Council to evolve the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) and other payment card data protection standards.

Telekurs, Cornèr Bank and VISA launch contactless payment   25.10.2007
In Zurich on Friday, October 19, 2007, Telekurs launched a new technology for the contactless paying of small amounts (contactless payment). Amounts up to 40 Swiss francs can be paid with this new technology without the entry of a PIN. To do so, the cardholder needs only to briefly hold his/her card in front of the reading device, and no longer must insert or swipe it. The system is based a wireless technology for short distances, a chip card and specially equipped cash register terminals.

VISA and MasterCard have jointly developed a new security standard for debit and credit card data. Termed PCI, it requires all companies worldwide that transmit, process and store card data to adhere to strict security regulations.
